Since the very beginning of my life, I have always experienced anxiety about unpredictability. These episodes aren’t just mere moments of daily stress either. On the contrary, whenever an unexpected change happens my natural reaction is to completely lose control, and have intense meltdowns where I’m uncontrollably yelling as well as thrashing around on the floor. Now I have learned mindfulness exercises (of which I’ll soon discuss) that enable me to gradually pull my mind out of the terror. 

I was given a comforting (as well as exciting) idea. There was a time when I had to travel over to California, to have an MRI done by the lab researching one of the conditions that I have. My mother did of course have to come along with me, and we spent just over a week there. In addition to having my MRI that week, I also got to meet and talk to the famous robot Asimo. Asimo certainly was extremely technologically advanced for his time. He amazed crowds with these qualities; though I discovered that his primary purpose was to assist people with disabilities as well. That is when I received the idea of eventually having a robot of my own to both help me and keep me company.

Since Rebecca's very first days of life, she have has a very strong preoccupation with experiences of her past. In fact to this day she would only ever think about and live her life in the present moment and future around 5% of the time.

Just about every person Rebecca come's across in life notices that she find's it very difficult to make and maintain eye contact. This can either be from people talking to her, as well as from them just seeing her in person out in public, in a picture or on camera. 

Today the current ratios (as there are many different ones from credible sources) of autism between males and females is growing ever more closer.    Females are statistically reported to be affected by autism less so than their male counterparts, even though it’s now becoming more widely believed that autism actually affects the those genders equally.

In the previous month’s blog Rebecca has discussed the current coronavirus situation, and how there’s much that is familiar to her about it, in terms of her Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Being fearful of her life getting threatened by exposing herself to public germs and diseases is something she has experienced very often throughout her lifetime.
